Our trip to Whitstable has been an unforgettable experience for all the students of 3rd year of Secondary Education. During our stay, we had the opportunity to improve our English while discovering British culture and enjoying time together outside the classroom.
Every morning we attended English lessons with native teachers. The classes were dynamic and interactive, which helped us practise speaking, listening and working in groups. Learning in an international environment made the experience even more enriching and fun.
In the afternoons, we took part in different cultural activities and excursions. We visited nearby towns full of history and charm, walked along the coast, and explored places that allowed us to better understand the traditions and lifestyle of the United Kingdom. These trips were also a great opportunity to practise English in real-life situations.
One of the highlights of the week was our day trip to London. It was an amazing experience to see some of the most iconic landmarks of the city, such as its historic streets, famous squares and well-known monuments. Walking around the capital and discovering its atmosphere made the day truly special for everyone.
Beyond the educational aspect, the trip also helped us strengthen friendships, become more independent and gain confidence using English in everyday situations. Whitstable will always remain a wonderful memory for our students.
Inmersión lingüística en Whitstable
Nuestra excursión a Whitstable ha sido una experiencia inolvidable para el alumnado de 3º de Secundaria. Durante nuestra estancia tuvimos la oportunidad de mejorar nuestro inglés mientras descubríamos la cultura británica y compartíamos momentos únicos fuera del aula.
Cada mañana asistíamos a clases de inglés con profesorado nativo. Las sesiones eran dinámicas y participativas, lo que nos permitió practicar la expresión oral, la comprensión y el trabajo en grupo. Aprender en un entorno internacional hizo que la experiencia fuera aún más enriquecedora y divertida.
Por las tardes realizábamos diferentes actividades culturales y excursiones. Visitamos ciudades cercanas llenas de historia y encanto, paseamos por la costa y descubrimos lugares que nos ayudaron a conocer mejor las tradiciones y el estilo de vida del Reino Unido. Además, estas salidas nos permitieron practicar el inglés en situaciones reales.
Uno de los momentos más especiales del viaje fue la excursión a Londres. Fue una experiencia increíble poder ver algunos de los lugares más emblemáticos de la ciudad, recorrer sus calles históricas y descubrir sus monumentos más característicos. Sin duda, fue un día que todos recordaremos.
Más allá del aprendizaje del idioma, este viaje también nos ha ayudado a fortalecer la convivencia, ganar autonomía y sentirnos más seguros utilizando el inglés en nuestro día a día. Whitstable quedará para siempre como un recuerdo muy especial para nuestro alumnado.
